Helloo everyone, its the middle of summer and I can't stand the heat. This being my first summer staying in New York City I am learning less is more with outfits. I don't have a car with air conditioning or a pool to lay by, I am grateful for the little air conditioner propped in the window of my living room.

Today I wore a little black playsuit that barely has any shape to it making it nice and loose, you dont need any clinging fabric in this heat. Sunnies are a must when walking through the city and the sun is reflecting off the sidewalk. With this outfit I paired Warby Parkers "Banks" Sunnies which are my absolute favorite. I have a hard time finding sunglasses in a shape that I feel fits my face, but now that I need to wear sunglasses, these ones definitely leave me feeling confident. Its getting warmerrr and I am so excited. I think this summer is going to bring a lot of old pieces and thirfting to my style, as well as color and a bit of a "retro" look is kinda what I'm going for.

The other day was so warm out, I spent the day with friends in Williamsburg and then I shot with my friend Kenny and his photographs are amazing I can't wait to do future shoots with him.

The weather is starting to be soo amazing. I think it almost reached 60 degrees today. My friend, Devi and I took a nice stroll through Soho and Chinatown today and had a nice bit of brunch at Two Hands on Mott. It is so great to have weather where you can walk around with or without a jacket.

I have had this outfit in mind for a while now, my eye has been on this Sleeveless Blazer every day I am at work and I finally gave in and bought it. I went for a nice neutral look with it and kept it interesting with my studded booties.

Here is my first "Style Spotlight" post which will hopefully turn into a weekly thing. I will be spotlighting people who I think have a unique and influential style.

Siena O'Callaghan, blogger of The Wellfed Wardrobe, I had the honor of photographing her this past fashion week. She is an Austrailian living in London and her style has been killing it this past NYFW and LFW.

Siena's style is very fun and sleek. She knows how to layer and play with colors from bright patterns to neutrals.
